It was October 18, 2012, and we where on our way to Alabama. A Parelli National Horsemanship show, as we passed the state boarder I saw the state boarder.
“Everyone raise your feet as we get to the state line.” I said
“Why?” April asked.
“Because it is fun now lets do it!”
“ONE, TWO THREE!” We all said as we raised our feet.
“You guys are silly.” April mom said
We sang songs as we rode to the hotel; it was raining a little bit so we ran. When we ran in the hotel we checked in and sat down in the lobby for a min watched a movie and it was already 9:00 pm. So we walked up to our room and went to sleep, the people who came were me, April (My friend) Her mom, her two brothers, younger sister, and a family friend. The next morning the boys where wide awake and ran down to the lobby of breakfast by the time we got their we found that their plates where bigger than their heads!
“Oh well…” I said
As we ate we meet some other people that where going to the Parelli National Horsemanship. After we finished eating breakfast we headed to our first Parelli National Horsemanship show.
The Parelli National Horsemanship place was PACKED their where cars and horse trailers everywhere! We finally found a good parking place, we walked in and it was very loud people talking and horses in the arena getting ready for the Parelli National Horsemanship show to begin. It took about 30 min for everything to get ready but then all of the sudden a man in a cowboy outfit came out.
“Welcome to the last 2012 Parelli National Horsemanship show I can not wait for next year but first we have to get thru this year. Now we will start with the one the only PAT PARELLI!” The crowed screamed and cheered as Pat Parelli and his best horse Slider rode in then trotted around the arena, then rode in circles, then best of all he jumped over some jumps and introduced himself. The show started at 8:00am and it ended at 5:30pm so we had some time to walk around so we hopped in the car a drove to another place.
As we rode we saw a sign the said “Cooks National Museum admission is FREE.”
“Lets go there.” April’s mom suggested.
Before she finished all of the smaller kids where so excited to go.
“Well, I guess we have no choice.” I said
As we rode in the parking lot it was not so packed so we headed in. They had a lot of taxidermy and all of it is really from people who poached the animal or the animal died naturally they did have some live animals, we stayed their till 6:00 pm then we headed of to the preserved national park. We rode by their, we looked at some animals and headed to the hotel to go eat dinner and go to sleep.
The next day we dove for the second day of Parelli National Horsemanship show this lasted longer and we did not really do much after that. The show lasted fro 3 days on the last morning we packed up all of our stuff and headed to the last day of the show it was like the first day it started at 8:00am to 5:00pm then we where on our way home the p
