Thank you all!
WoooHoooo....So happy to see that Cash has made HOTD!
It's been a long, bitter winter here with below normal temps, ice and snow. Been so busy lately trying to keep everyone comfortably warmer and safe.
Just had four new baby goats....two girls and two boys. They are adorable! Named the girls Snowball and Pip and the boy's names are Frank and Beans. Snowball got her name because she looked like a pile of fresh snow in the corner of the stall, Pip got her name because she is exactly that...a Pip, so full of herself.
The boys got their names because hubby told me to name them something he would remember and what man doesn't remember food?!? LOL

I bought Cash a couple of dog toys to hang in his stall and break his boredom when he simply cannot be out because of the ice. One is a small, black, rubber tire, a couple of bright colored rubber rings and a rubber ball on a rope. who would have thought he would have so much fun with these? He gets a hold of the tire and rings, pulls on them and lets them go to see them swing back and forth. He hasn't quite mastered the ball yet but has fun trying to get a grip on it. He picks up his rubber curry brush and plays with it for a half an hour at a time. Ruger has just as much fun watching him as we do. Thats my silly boy alright!
I have sold my mare Mazy. She was a sweetheart of a girl but needed more attention than I could give her with working my job 40+ hours a week. Broke my heart but she has gone to a wonderful home and is happy to be living with a clydesdale named Clyde and five other horses on 230 acres. She will be trained to pull a cart in the spring and just loves the couple that bought her. She is always the first to greet them when they walk out into the pasture. We keep in touch and I am informed about how she is doing once a month. Yes....I cried the day she left but knowing how happy she is now has turned my tears of sadness into tears of happiness for her. This decision was so hard to make but I wanted what was best for her.
I am so waiting for the weather to break and spring to arrive. I hate bundling up to go out and feeling like a monster with all these layers on. We did have a short break a week ago, temps in the 40's for two days and I got out there, saddled Cash up and we rode off in the snow. This boy was fabtabulous! Had a blast in those two days and my two days off work fell on those days which made them grand.
~ Horsing around is so much fun~
