If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all
So, here is the latest on Charlie's hoof. Greg had the accident the other day, his Dr. has put him off work for a few days, seems he can't focus one eye...do you need two eyes to tap on a couple of shoes??? Sorry, yes, of course I am concerned for his health, but Charlie is in trouble her...we have a huge shortage of GOOD farrier's, so it is out of my hands, he is going to try for the first of the week, in the meantime, Charlie is tender, but not lame, We walked yesterday, but remember how dramatic my boy is, so today he can just rest, this is sooooo frustrating, I should be a farrier...Dr. Cook wants the nutritionist to come and check him out. When he was here last year, it was for Sterl May. Dr. Cook says there may be something else that we can do to help with Charlie's poor quality hoof wall. He is already on a hoof supplement. This nutritionist is also a TB breeder and racer, and his horses race barefoot, so Dr. Cook says it is NOT just crappy TB feet. This will be interesting if nothing else. We left a vote, have a great day, Love Donna Lee
