Ah! I see! If you haven't already found them, the Missouri Fox Trotter Assoc. website is: I don't know how the Fox Trotter assoc. works, but since you don't have records of Boot's sire and dam, it could get expensive to "hardship" him into the registry. (In some breeds, that is what they call it when a horse is registered without knowing their pedigree. For minis it is VERY expensive and involves DNA testing and stuff like that.) Check into the buckskin registry too. In my experience, the color associations are less expensive and more flexible. You might even be able to dual register him in both associations. Thanks for visiting Cooper and the nice compliments! I think he is pretty cute too! :) My boyfriend thinks I'm such a nerd. He's not a horse person, so he doesn't get it. LOL!
