patches is cute i bet he'll be fun to ride when he learns how to be ridden.lol. u asked if i have any advice? well i've never worked with a completly unbroken horse before but i'll do the best i can to help. first, u need to gain his trust and respect. a lot of ground work will help, like lunging.also u could look up parelli seven games, these games work wonders with a horses respect and trust in u. the games lay a foundation that u can continue to build on for the rest of your life. once u get his trust and respect then you can move on to saddle work. there's a method used by clinton anderson that if a horse is a really scared of the saddle and pad that he tacks them up (no bridle just saddle) and leaves them alone for the rest of the day, and supposedly that gets them used to it. i'm not sure about the last method just because i've never personaly tried it but i've heard it works. i have used the seven games though and highly recomend it. also if u could blog back and tell me what he already knows i might be able to help more specifficaly(did i spell that right?) left a vote blog back soon
