Yeah, you could put Hammar and Ashley on your list if you'd like! Now as for the spelling, if you are talking about the result of two different species, such as a mule form a donkey and a horse, that is a hybrid. As far as I know, hybred is not a word. You could possibly use it for mixed breed horses like you are now, and coin it as a new term, though according to Dictionary.com hybrid is sometimes used for mixed breed animals. I find that very confusing when talking about horses, though, since you can very easily confuse a hybrid between breeds with a hybrid between species such as a mule. Another word for mixed breed animals, especially dogs, is mongrel. Whether that's better than "mutt" or not is a personal opinion.
