That is the opposite of my haflinger he was around 100-200lbs underweight but with rich pastures and a bit of grain he is healthy as a horse. Just wondering what kind of bit do you use on him. I had trouble with my horse at first so I use an 7-8 inch ported shank bit.The lady at the tack store said that Haflingers can be difficult and hard-mouthed.
