My first true love When i was 11 yrs old we moved up to wva b/c my gpa was dying and he died when i was 12 and b4 he passed away he knew i had a live of horses and he told my mom that his last will in testment that she had to buy me a horse and i had my eye on spongebob for awhile and i finally got the chance to own him i was 12 and he had just turned 2 he was in the process of getting broke while i helped out at the barn,we had such a strong connection,nobody up at the barn thought i would be able to handle him b/c i had only been riding for 1 1/2 when i got him and he was my first horse but i taught him how to be a hunter horse and he taught me to be a better rider,my trainer was amazed by the connection i had with him nothing could tear us apart,people even offered 10000 grand for him and i told them no b/c he was my baby joking around alot i would call him my boyfriend LOL,but last year we moved back to NC and i went to an arabian show farm and they said that if i wanted to show at the bigger shows i had to have a registered horse (spongebob wasnt) so i agrred to sell him and buy a regisitered horse (there was a girl up there that didnt own a horse at all and went to those shows)and i got beau but realized that we didnt have a great connection we didnt have one at all and i never got to go to any shows,spongebob was sold on april 8 2007 (his 5th bday) i cried so hard and still to this day i cry,spongebob was my baby boy and he was the only horse i would trust my 3 yrs old neice around she would walk him in the round pen with me by her side but thats how calm he was and thats what made me fall in love with him but i ride at the barn he is at and they take super care of him but unfortunaly when the owner of spongebob comes i cant even pet him thats how close she is too him but still to this day everyone complements me on how well i trained him and thats left me with a great memorie that i will treasure forever even though i dont own him anymore.left a vote i LOVE this page
