My horse
Moose is getting better, but I'm not sure I want to continue with training with her. She is so moody, as a beginner I never know how she will act going out to work with her. She could be great do what I ask and then the next time fight me every step of the way. I don't think she trusts me completely yet, or maybe its respects me. She won't just come up and appoarch me while in her stall. She don't run away from me in the round pen, but when she is in her stall sometimes when I approach her she will turn and walk away. I have spent alot of time with her, I don't know if it is for her though. I can't tell if I'm getting some where with her or not. I am working with a trainer, and she is the reason she has gotten better riding. She is only be ridden once a week, because I can't afford for the trainer to come out and ride her more. So I guess because her ride isn't enough, I'm probably not going to a result I want until she is ridden more on a regular basis. So like I said I'm still not sure what I'm going to do with her. Thanks for you post. I hope things are going well with your horse. I recently bought another horse that I have been working with. I guess if they were both in my back yard I could do more with them. Thanks, Melissa
