he's amazing!!! i trained a horse, and im still training him til this point too. he was neglected and was never trained. we wanted him to just be a pasture mate. i felt bad and took him out just to see what would happen. i first had to ride him bareback because we didnt have a saddle or saddle pad either. i also found out he couldnt canter/lope. all they did with him was pony him along with the other horses when they went for a ride. i tell you what, boy was he happy to get away from that place, he hopped right in the trailer without us even telling him to do so. hes also kind of gaited so its was hard staring out with the canter/lope. without the muscle to even trot for a couple min. it was hard for him to learn. (bareback didnt help either). now, on his third year, he is finally learning to take the right lead. he can run on it, but doesnt have the coordination to stay in a straight line, or make a nice circle in a controlled canter/lope.
