I dunno.... I don't have much experience with training horses from when they are little. I think that you should start working with them, and getting them used to stuff all over their body young, and maybe start saddling and bridleing at 2 and then lounging and mounting and lightly riding at 3, and then start to really work them at 4, but I think it depends on the breed, and then individual horse!
But like I said, I don't know much about it! Like the horse my sister trained, was already 4, just had like nothing done with her, and Gypsee is 6, and she can be ridden just not jump and stuff.
But then some people leave the horses out to pasture until they are 3, but I think they should at least work with them...
