Testimony--sorry it's late!!
OK well in the word's of my last year's Bible teacher, I am a "lifer"--I've known Christ all my life because that's how my parents raised me and grew up themselves. My mom was raised Catholic and my dad Protestant, mostly Methodist; when they got married they settled on Lutheran. I've attended Catholic grade school for nine years, and now go to a Lutheran school. (And I've always felt kind of on the know, was the Lutheran in the Catholic school, and now I'm kinda the Catholic in the Lutheran school--it's backwards.) Anyway, what you should also know about me is that I've been blessed IMMENSELY. And I'm totally not trying to brag, believe me!! =[ =[ But instead I'm praising God by not down-playing my gifts. So first off I've always gotten straight-A's and am in accelerated classes. Science and math are my favorite because I love to know how the world works & have an apptitude for concepts and problem solving and things like that, which is also why I love languages. Once again, I hate to make you think I'm trying to brag!! =[ OK I also LOVE to draw horses too, and I read and write a lot, although I don't read the Bible NEARLY as much as I should. And I've always loved riding, even though I was straight up TERRIBLE at it until about two years ago when I got assigned to Casper (in fact my earliest childhood memory is of me on a pony in Estes Park). And, I'm pretty much fearless. But I have other blessings too, such as a wonderful, whole Christian family, not to mention I (in my personal opinion, I don't expect you at all to agree) live on the most beautiful place on the planet, Colorful, mountainous Colorado. And I've seen so many places, including half the US + Hawaii, Mexico, Canada, England, France, Italy, the Vatican, etc. On the other hand, I have many, many weaknesses, including my crippling shyness and fear of speaking to people or generally having people I don't know in close proximity. So I've never had very many friends! I'm also lazy and would rather spend time writing to you all than doing homework!--So there's a lack of discipline. OK here's where I'm going with all of this, before I write my life's work! Colorado's state motto is Nil Sine Numine, or Nothing Without the Diety/Providence/God depending on the translations in Latin. I recognize, though a lot of times take for granted, that every single wave and particle around me is the work of GOD (and especially NOT primordial soup, as is according to people who support Darwinism). I hate evolution and wish the narrow-minded people that study it and insist it's at all accurate would open their eyes, because the ONLY logical choice is "Intellegent Design". I'm also extremely pro-life. I can't feel God in every single thing I do, but I KNOW he answers my prayers, because I SEE it. And I trust He's working in me. I've seen many miracles.
