Today, we were on r way home and there was a horse right by the road that had gotten out! We pulled over and then saw this guy come out of the house. He had a lead rope and he started swinging it at the horse! He was trying to wip him to get him back in! When the horse saw him he ran and kinda fell back into the fence. All the fence was is two ropes! The horses field was all muddy and there was no grass growing. If I was that horse and the fence was like that I would get out! The guy came to talk to us and he said that he would beat that horses a word. He says that he has a horse that he is trying to sell and he wanted us to come take a look. While we were getting out he picked about eight rocks and started throwing them one at a time as HARD as he could at the horse that got out! He was only standing 10 feet away! He was trying to catch the horse that he wanted us to buy so he got some grain and started shaking it. Another horse came to get the grain and he grabbed him by his halter and threw his head around, then he smacked him as hard as he could! Just because he was coming to get the grain! The horse that he was trying to sell us was 700 and she needs hoof work, she is barely halter broke and is 24! His horses are always COVERED in mud and one of them has had so many burrs in his tail u can't even see it for at least 2 and a half months! He was kicking at them and trying to bite them off. I called my riding teacher to see if I should call animal abuse. She said that if the horses were well fed than they can't do anything. She said that I should call the police instead because if their fence is that bad than he could have his horses taken away because they can easily get out and the fence is right by the road. So not only is it dangerous for the horses it's also dangerous for people driving by. She said that if they start getting skinny in the winter than I should call animal abuse. It was SOO SAD and HARD to see him throwing rocks at his horse! He said that two of the horses were his nieces and she didn't want to come get them. He said that if she doesn't come get them soon then he is going to file a lawsuit against her! His own niece! He kept cussing and hitting his horses. It looked like he really didn't care. The only reason I would ever buy his horse is to SAVE her. Well, I think I've written a book. Bye!
