***He is so cute, I want to steal him. I love his color!*** Hey! How are you guys, sorry I have not been on much I have been so busy! I went riding on Monday, then could not get out Wednesday because of rain... so the next time I got to ride was yesterday! He was so hyper, I put him in the round pen to lunge him, and at first he bucked some then I tried to warm him up a little more in there without him tie-ing up (If you do not know, tie-ing up is when you warm your horse up to fast) Example: Let's say a horse had been in his stall all week, and you got him out in the round pen and just ran him as fast as he could go to get all the energy out... he looked fine. Well to know if your horse is tie-ing up go feel his muscle right behind his shoulder and see, if it is quivering your horse might be tie-ing up... or it could be his heart pounding... another way to know is if his pee is red. Sounds pretty bad... eh?) Anyway where was I... oh yeah lunging and he was being a nut, when I thought I had him mellow I tacked him up and starting lunging him in the arena (on a lunge line) and he was nuts... SO I had to go back inside un-tack him take him right back in the round pen... let him play on his own -Left for lunch- came back he had rolled of course... and so then I lunged him and tacked him up lunged him in the arena again just W/J and then got on him. Walked... good Jogged... good Trot... he kinda pushed to go a little fast in a western saddle Canter... it was a little fast for western too and he threw his head some... In the end though he was good. Then I groomed him, and let him back out... *Haha so I let him back out, then came with two of my friends to let their horses out... Breezy and Attie. I saw my horse playing and nipping his best friend Coyote he was too (there is a picture of Coyote's head on Rocki's more pictures) so then they let Attie&Breezy out. Rocki tried to come up to me, and he got 10 feet with in Attie and she charged at him... he ran away haha. He was scared to come past her so I waled out to him... then Attie started to roll so we went up near the gate towards Breezy and she charged at him too almost running over me, I had to jump backwards a foot or so to keep my feet from being crushed. Then Rocki went away and out of nowhere Trooper comes up (he likes to stay in between Rocki and Coyote just to do so.... they are not really friends) so he starts to pull off Rocki's halter and he just stands there like go away, but doesn't do anything so then Trooper starts to walk dragging Rocki along and he picks up the pace, they looked like cart horses except for the fact Trooper had his head over Rocki dragging him. Then Trooper stopped and had his head on Rocki's butt, haha Rocki bounced up with his hind end and you could hear Trooper jaw snap back together... Haha it was a great day!*
