Why would I get a horse with a Broken leg...
Sorry It took so long but Embert was sick. I wanted him cuz he needed me. I almost got my perfect black with four white socks 16hh hunter/jumper. Instead I find out that Embert, who I had been caring for for six months, was going for meat. I could not let that happen. He was givin to me thanks to the trainer I was working for because the owner owed her money and I worked it off. Embert was only 4 turning 5 when he broke his leg. Still a baby and the accident was not even his fault. His foot fell through the bottom of a rotten old trailer. He is lucky that he did not loose his foot and after 2.5 years of hard work to get him walking (without any surgary and expensive treatments) he is now walking and running like any other horse. But he is special cuz we have bonded. I cant even ride him bare back because if I mive slightly he thinks I'm falling and stops to make sure I'm okay. He is that best horse that I could ever ask for, I really don't care about winning the next jumpers class or making sure my dressage test it perfect, but this year we will be barrel racing starting in August and if we win anything it will be quite the accomplishment for I have fixed him and trained on my own. He is the foundation of my dreams to own a rescue Stable for Standardbreds like him whether they have been abused or broken down they will have a place to go to and to find someone that will really love them.
