Jezelle is such a great horse!
Jezelle is a great horse. although she's only 3 1/2 she can do anything the other lesson horses can do!(except she has never been on a trail ride) i hope to take her on one while i'm helping with camp, the frist time i might just lead her(the helpers walk on foot, so far 2 of the three weeks have went on a trail but they only walked and troted to catch up with the helpers permissom we each are in charege of 1-3 campers on the trail) i think jez will do ok, she does buck sometimes but not alot and if she does buck it's not usually enough to get you off, so far she has never bucked with me and i have only seen her buck once before(we have 55 gal. barrles layed down sideways there's two sets one after the other about 30 ft. apart and she did a little tiny buck after the first row of barrles. the girl riding her didn't lose her balance or anything, she 13 and is a fairly advanced rider(she helps at the camp with me and is going to bring her horse to FEC for 2 weeks(the 5 week her week to ride and the 6 week my week to ride) her horse is half arabin half quarter horse, he's 6 years old, and his full name id Purple Rain(so all of his brushes, halter,saddle pad, fly bonnet, and his grazing muzzle are all purple) why would a 6 year old half arabian half quarter horse need a grazing muzzle? he's fat and squishy! she has only had him for 3 months and he was fat when she bought him, so guess what big boy It's MAJOR DIET time!
she said that i can ride Rain when he gets to FEC since he'll be boarded there for two weeks(or maybe forever!) |
