Thats great that Oliver did so well at her first show. What classes did you show him in? My cattle show didn't go as well as hoped as the judge didn't always know what he was doing. I did still place with my steer and in grooming though. The day after the show Cheyenne and I were of to a horse camp to be wranglers. Camp went great and of the 10 days I was there I rode almost 70 hours. It was awesome!
It didn't go as well for Cheyenne as she went majorly lame on her one hind leg on about the 5th day. I had to send her home early after she got an infection even with no visiable sound and it started draining around her coronet band. She is doing better now as the swelling has gone down and the infection is gone. The part that is worriesome is that from were the infection was draining out there is a gap inbetween her hoof and foot. Because of that she might now be riding sound again, and that would be bad.
Since getting back from camp I have been working Celtic and Gazelle who are both still not fully halter broke and they are learning very fast.
Heres a vote for the handsome Oliver.
