just be careful. i saw a bad accident in a western saddle where the horse flipped over backwards and the horn sliced along the scalp of the rider! nearly scalped her from her eyebrown to behind her ear! big skin flap hanging down. ended up the horse's teeth needed floating so he was evading the bit by rearing up.
