Hi: Thanks for the visit and the vote, I returned the favor. I live in the northern part of California, between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe in a small town called Placerville. Our elevation here is about 1,800 feet so we are just below most of the snow in the winter, but do get it at times. We're not high enough to escape the heat, and it does get really hot here at times during the summer. I don't like to ride Spider when it's too hot, Spider doesn't like it either. I've been to the Board Walk in Santa Cruz a couple of times, it was fun, have you ever spent any time in the mountains in my area? I've spent weeks at a time camped out with friends and our horses in the mountains. I love riding through Desolation Valley, Rock Bound Pass, and many of the little lakes that are in that area. There use to be a competitive trail ride each year called High Sierra Trail Ride. It started at Lake Tahoe and ended up at Wrights Lake after a week long ride. I went on the ride several years, and I won first place three years. They don't have that ride anymore, I miss it. Come back and visit when you can.
