Well your new pictures are simply gorgeous!!! Sounds like you had a fantastic week-end - wish we could have joined your for the hunt! How is school and French lessons going? Yoda is doing really really well the injections are really making him feel great and he's down to one injection a month now to help with the arthritis in his front legs.Yeah! However Starry is not doing that well at the moment turns out all the back problems were really just compensating for an old splint that has become active again. We had x-rays and scans done by the vet (he had to sleep over for the night and his mom was so worried about him) - luckily no damage to any ligaments but the splint is big and in a really awkward place so much so that it is interfering with his suspensory ligament. He got cortisone injections and has been booked off for 6 weeks - 2 weeks box rest, 2 weeks of walking in hand and 2 weeks paddock rest - thereafter the vet will do flexor tests again to establish whether the splint has gone down. If not we might have to consider surgery, but we will cross that bridge if we ever come to it, which I'm positive won't be necessary - we are going to try laser therapy to shring the splint - please think of us! Well its also my boy's birthday today - 11 years old! I'm goint to look for a ball or something for his stable to keep him occupied he's feeling really sorry for himself while all his friends are outside! Say hello to Shoo from us! All our love Chris, Starry & Yoda
