sorry i have not blogged in awile! ok since i have not blogged in like forever i will just give u a glace on how our november was! Well, i did not have a lesson for like ever 2 weeks by the way! Because weather just kept getting in our way! but when i finally got one in we worked on really getting our transitions right when i ask them (which we have worked on and are now pros at!) Sonador responded well to this but was a little full of energy because we lost our constant riding due to weather. But we went a week and i had another lesson starting jumping! we jumped 6" at this lesson and sonador was a pro at it! When we first started she just like walked over them no big deal then she trotted no big deal and then we cantered and she actually jumped them. After that we worked on the extended trot so we put some polls on the ground to make her step out more, and my trainer had me tort over them and each time she put them just a tad bigger and eventually we got the extended trot without even knowing it! We now have been working on showmanship the past couple of days and getting our pivots to be quicker and also our set ups. All winter long i will be doing this so by show season we will win ever single showmanship class i got in! Just yesterday in the morning it was like 80 degrees so i went out and gave sonador a bath (which she loved and now she is so soft!) and then we worked more on showmanship and my work has started to pay off, pivots she is still being lazy but her setup has gotten lightning fast! Then later on that after noon one of my friends came over and we rode the horses for awile just having fun and hanging out (she rode my moms horse checkers) and later on she spent the night and went to church with us and now i am back to today! And i will see u later cuz i am going out to ride!
