HI, I have owned Fancy since March 2009. She was wild and hated humans when i got her. Now she is my doll baby. I would like to show her but i don't know how to train her to stand. All I have ever competed in was trail classes and Go As you Please class. The vet said she will be ready for me to ride this spring. About that crop. I would think you need to train him with that before using it on him. In an enclosed area first desinsitize him to that crop then teach him to go forward when you tap him with it. If you hide it he might learn to fear the crop or you. Teaching him what to do when you use it is better. And he won't fear it. Practice running with him on lead also. When I did this with Fancy this past spring she wanted to play;) He will get it through practice and persistence and you won't need that crop and that is even better. I don't know how, but yesterday Fancy pawed up the frozen ground, it seemed frozen soooo hard to me. Yeah for CHRISTmas! Fancy and Frances leave this "We are all kids at heart when it comes to CHRISTmas" vote.
