I'm sorry I haven't been on in so long! I've been so busy and it's hard to fit it in! Thanks for continueing to vote for us! We'll stop by and visit you as often as we can! Summer has been doing so well. Even though we haven't had as much training time because of the weather he just learns so fast! And really wants to learn! Last time I was at the barn we cured his "windowphobia!" When we started on the lunge line at the complete opposite end of the arena he was totally flipping out cause the glare the sun made on the snow through the window was aparently very scary. We worked on showmanship near the window and every time we would get close he would flare his nostrils and side step out the way to avoid it. Once I could walk him near it without him trying to get away I lunged him at that end of the arena. When he made two laps without speeding up I let him stop. Then I got on and rode him in just a halter. I talked to him the whole time reassuring him that the scary window wasn't going to eat him. I could walk/trot/stop/back right next to it without any problem! This whole process took about 40 minutes! We're going to the barn again today and I'll let you know how he does!!!! =)
