Thanks so much for stopping by and I'm sorry I haven't replied sooner. I've just been so busy but since the weekend starts tomorrow I thought I'd try catching up on my blogs.

We have spring here already. I don't want to jinx it because it's way too early and may still turn cold again. The trees are budding, the grass and clover are growing, and the bulbs are pretty high. Wow, it sure is nice. It's still freezing at night though but I'm in bed so who cares?

I was out last week with a chainsaw cutting down some dead and bent ponderosa pines. I thought that Melian, as timid as she is, would be scared of the loud noise. But as soon as I started up the saw she flew over and wanted to play with it. I guess she thought the whole thing was a big game.

And then I had to cut some trees in Pippin's pen. He wasn't afraid either but I'm not surprised there. He's pretty stoic about everything. When the saw was running he'd stand patiently watching me from a few feet away. As soon as I switched it off he was right there on top of everything and chewing on the handle and the bar.

And at one stage I was cutting up a large log and suddenly I felt him nibble my butt. I turned around instantly but he was already several yards away and calmly facing the other direction. He was like, "Who ME?" Sneaky little brat. He and Melian were chasing each other around the pen a lot of the time.

I just finished making an avatar movie. I'd love to share it with you. It's called, "The Pretty Bay Mare: A Love Story." I made it entirely with avatars. It took me a LONG time. I'd make a few frames here and there as I had time. It's here on the HC and should still be on the first page and easy to find.

How's everything there? Has spring shown its face yet? The equine affair sure did sound good. Here's a vote for you. Have a great weekend.
