How's everything there? Thanks so much for stopping by Pippin's page. I'm glad you like him. I took Pippin and Melian (my dog) for a joint bike ride on Saturday. I'd like to say that they did really well but no, Pippin was so BAD. I know it's not good to lose one's temper with an animal but I did. Twice he grabbed the bike basket with his teeth and then tried to bolt. You can imagine the result. Yep, a pile of me and the bike holding onto Pippin's lead. The only way I could stop him from taking off was by grabbing the handle bars. The bike went off balance and fell. Twice. Fortunately, this was at the beginning of the ride and we were still in the forest. And Melian was loose. She a little scared of me though because I was so angry with Pippin. After I thoroughly chewed him out and comforted Melian we actually had not such a bad time. We went pretty far, about 5 miles, and they both ran properly alongside on their respective sides. And it's funny, whenever Pippin is bad he's always golden the next day. I drove him on Sunday and he was perfect and on his most gentlemanly behaviour. And on Monday evening I took him and Melian on a night walk and I couldn't believe how good he was. Melian is always pretty good. Both of them responded whenever I slowed them or sped them. It was really nice. Have you had any nice spring days to work with your horses? Today was the most beautiful day we've had this year. We were threatened with snow a couple of nights ago but it was too warm. Leaving another vote for you.
