Hey! Blossom is doing really good! We've gotten settled on getting up early every other morning. This morning, I got her to do 2 laps around the front yard at a constant canter, and I was in control. It felt really awsome! Then we worked on double jumps this afternoon and she did great at that too! My sister's birthday was yesterday. She finally got a Nintendo DS, and she's been playing it all day, it gets kind of annoying. I havea riding lesson tomroow and then we'll decide if I am ready for the show on Saturday! I can't wait!
Yeah, my parents get scared when I'm riding too. See, they only come out and watch every once in a while, so they are shocked at how much more they are doing, and then they think I can't do it. Sometimes I'll be out there high jumping and they'll tell me I can't go any higher cause they are scared! It's weird, I hardly feel any fear once we are focused on a jump, but when I see the pictures, I'm like, Ahh! I was jumping that high! But parents worry cause the LOVE YOU! It might not feel like it, but they are afraid to lose you. You have to understand their veiw point and let them understand yours, and try to find a comfortable medium for the time being. ;) |
