When Cowboy Doug came over today, I took the saddle out and put it on a bale of hay. He got on like a pro. Loved every minute of being in the saddle. He's such a horseman for a 5 yr old. I, then, put the blanket on Star to see how she'd react since it's been a long time since she's been rode. I put the saddle on, and she was great. Lightning checked out the saddle and was like what the heck? I kept it on her for a while and when I started to take it off, she wouldn't let me. Austin took it off without a problem. She's bonded well with him. When he goes out back, she always goes up to him to say hello. How often should I worm Them? Will worming help move the sand and dirt from grazing out of their systems? Probably need to get something special for that. Cowboy Doug couldn't stay long. His dad called him home to get ready for Church. Love that boy. He started wearing the cowboy hat when I got the horses and, except for Church and school, always has it on. The horses have helped him overcome autism. He has really come a long way from never talking to constantly talking to and about Star and Lightning. It's amazing. Love you all and a vote!!
