HI, thanks for the vote, left you one. I did get to ride yesterday, Toby did so good.
Well today is Memorial day. I know a lot of people are happy to have an extra day off. Maybe go camping, to the beach, have a bbq, are just relaxing at home for the day, and that is all fine. But please don't forget the real reason behind this holiday. Brave men and women have and are fighting for our very freedom this day. Some will return home safely, some might be injured, some will know doubt be changed forever, and sadly, some will not return home at all. My husband was killed in Iraq by a roadside bomb nearly 4 yrs. ago. So please take time to remember what this day really means, say a prayer for our troops past and present.
Toby has truly been a blessing for me. I love this horse so much. He keeps me laughing, which is something I really need. He has helped me through some dark days, and continues to help me heal. |
