Thanks for the vote..I've been leaving a blog about mules each day..I'll add you in:) Happy TGIF...A little tid bit from mules in history.
Mules were used to pull gravity-powered trains up hills in mining regions and to pull street rail cars in cities. James Parker, originally a Cincinnati, Ohio apple farmer, converted his orchards into an amusement park adding a dining hall, dance hall, and a mule powered carousel. In 1886, he sold the park and was called Ohio Grove; later it became known as the Coney Island of the West. The mule-turned merry-go-round was just the first of many rides and carnival games.
