Hey! Sorry it's been so long since I last blogged! IT's been crazy! One of the boarding horses kicked the crap out of one on my two year olds on Monday. And a couple days ago I saw a cut from the middle of her cannon down to her pastern. To make it all worse it should've had stiches and there was proud flesh that should've been cut off. So now most likely it is going to scar really bad! It makes me so mad when it's the horses I want to show! And then my vet isn't even in town. He's in Montana and he's worried about it being in the tendon. I don't think it it...but that doesn't always mean anything. So the doctor told us to keep it moist with a wrap and a bunch of medicines on it and hopefully she won't have to go into surgery to get it removed. Well on the up side of life...I had some great riding time this week. I got back on Hugo. He's huge. It's a lot different from riding all the small horses I was riding before that. But all Skipper's colts are unusually large. I am going to show him in the PHSC Futurity. Hopefully he does well. Jeff is in great shape and is almost ready for rodeo season. I've run him a couple times since he's been back and he's done great. Rhonda seems to be doing a little better. She's too sensitive to have a bit in her mouth I think I am going to have to ride her in a side pull. Well thanks for helping Skipper get HOTD! Left ya a vote! Hope to hear from you sooN!
