Thanks, Forest is a handsome boy. The difference between a buckskin and a dun is fairly simple a buckskin is a bay with a dilute gene, which only dilutes the base color. A dun is a bay with a dun gene which adds the dorsal stripe, leg stripes and ear barring and usually changes the color a bit. I am not the experienced with stallions and when I wanted Forest started I sent him to a trainer. He does have a really good temperment though and is really friendly. Whats it like to work with a stallion? Well I havn't done a whole lot with him and I won't start riding him until fall, but you just have to be more aware of things and you can't let a stallion get away with anything or they will totally take advantage of you.
I hope Jaz continues to heal from her abcess fast and you can do lots of riding. She sounds like a really sweet horse. Heres a vote.
