Sapphire is beautiful! Thank you for the congrats and the vote!! I love her long black mane! Night's mane grows really good too and I usually like long mane's even on boy horses, but for some reason I think Night looks better with a short one! That's funny they both have black manes and tails, except for the bottom!! I'm not sure why at all... I guess it's just from the different color pigments since they have more than one skin color pigment.. like how paints will have a variety of mane/tail colors. Like sometimes paints have SOLID manes/tails.. sometimes they have a combination of colors! My one Appaloosa horse, Lakota, is white with bay spots... but he has white, bay, AND lots of black strands in his mane! I saw a lot of dapple steely-grey thoroughbreds when I was looking at them on an ex-racing website and some had tails like ours, some had solid tails! And the solid ones were sometimes mainly white/grey or sometimes solid black! The only thing I HAVEN'T seen in this particular color horse is a LIGHT top with a DARK bottom! Weird haha.
Well so nice to "meet you" and Nightmute's lovely female twin Sapphire lol
