How are you doing? I hope you're feeling better and are not so sore now. Maybe that extra running helped a bit? I hope you're doing fine and getting some nice horsey time.

Poor Pippin must have stumbled into a wasps nest on Monday. His head is completely swollen, and all around his shoulders from the top of his front legs, around the withers, partially down his back, and at the base of his tail is hard, lumpy, and quite swollen. I can't even halter him. He's too tender.

He's slightly less swollen today but it's more widespread. He looks fat because he's swollen basically all over. Tomorrow I'm going to get some Dex and hopefully that will take care of the problem. This evening I took him on a walk with just an untied rope around his neck. I held both ends in my right hand. We went about 3 miles and he behaved reasonably well. I can't fit the halter over his swollen head. Poor thing! He's never been sick before in his life.

Below is Melian's blog from the Dog Channel. I'm going to be really busy answering blogs but I'll try my best to write here too. I would really appreciate your support for her.

Thanks so much and here's a vote for you.
