HI, left a vote. Rode Toby today. He did so well, just love that bosal. Anyway, for kicks and giggles, especially the giggles, I decided to try roping. I am uncoordinated! LOL!!! Toby wasn't scared of that rope at all, he just stood there waiting for me to get it right! Sue has a fake cow head that we put onto two tall traffic cones, worked really well. Toby went up to it sniffed, licked, and tried to eat it. Then he was trying to take the head off of the cones! LOL!!! Sue got on Toby and tried her hand at roping, and so did Madison. Toby just stood the whole time, (should I the them that is his favorite thing to do?) LOL!!! Sue wants Mike to show her how to rope, but she wants to use Toby. I am like, that is fine, don't you think max(that is her horse) will be ok with it? "oh no, he will start bolting if I tried that". She did tell me that she was really impressed with Toby today, that I should be proud of him. Of course I am! She also said all of the groundwork I have been doing with him, showed today! His pasture is so muddy, I mean, thick, soupy, wet, sticky mudd! So instead of putting him out in that, I just kept him on the lead line and let him graze in a different area. Stood with him for an hour. I took some pics of him grazing today, posted them below.
