It's great to hear from you again. I'm sorry that it's taken me so long to reply. It's funny, I was thinking about you the day you wrote. It's strange how those things happen, isn't it? Thanks for coming to Pippin first. I'm glad that you like all his new pictures. I know that you would love him if you could meet him. Yes, I did have a little trouble with him one day with the cart. He's been good since then but I definitely have to work with him. He was really antsy and took off at a gallop through the forest. Not exactly smooth going. My main worry was that the cart would get hooked up on a tree and cause a crash that would spook him for life. He doesn't forget things. Fortunately, he eventually responded to my commands to slow down. I haven't spent a lot of time on slowing down and stopping because he always seemed to have the opposite problem. It takes effort to make him go faster than a walk. But when he has built up enough muscle I don't think he will have any problem. He just gets lazy sometimes. But once he gets going he's fine. (As long as I can stop him.) But he's a good boy and learns fast so I don't think it will be a problem. I'm sorry that Gibson is getting weaned so early. I suppose it will be alright if he's getting supplements, etc. Pippin was weaned at four months which is when we got him. How's Boston doing? Have you had much time to ride? Well, I hope you're having a great weekend and I wish you some rain.
