Random Update to Get a Few More Points
Nine is such a handsome little sweetheart. He has finally started eating treats, though true to his Mustang Mentor Hammer, he prefers pellets or slices of bread. Actually, Nine still won't eat anything else, but that's fine. Unfortunately, I haven't ridden Nine in several months... He bucked me off right at the beginning of Winter Break and I was in a lot of pain (damaged my erector spinae muscle, and I could hardly walk for weeks, and didn't ride any horse for a couple months). And then school got busy, and I have to take summer classes as well so time is short. But he has been coming along in his comfort level and ground manners. I can let him out with Hammer and they stick together; I can also lead Nine without a halter like Hammer as well. My daughter can walk right up to him and he just turns his head to sniff her, then goes right back to whatever he was doing before.
