FANCY'S PERCEPTIONS:
"A little boy's place, is on his mommy's horse" (Fancy's mommy)

Fancy is finally back with your Tuesday vote.
Monday night I sat down to vote for our friends and it started to thunder, so I had to shut the computer down. Sunday night I sat down to vote for our friends and I was soo tired, I just couldn't make it. So to bed, I went. Finally, looks like we are going to get the voting done!

My young son, has ridden Fancy for several days now. Everyday he ask to go out and ride. Reminds me of times when he was just old enough to speak. When his little eyes would open in the morning, first thing he would say,"I want my ridie.) Ridie is what he called the palomino pony he rode. He would ride that little palomino pony long as you would lead them around. And never wanted to go in. History repeats itself, I ask him, "are you ready to get down?", and he says,"No, I want to ride." Pity, we only have one horse now. But we will make it work. Hopefully we go to look at saddles today. This child has outgrown his saddle.
I made a video of him and Fancy, I will load it soon. Fancy just walked so slow with him and every now and then she would stop. I told him he has to make her keep walking. He is working on that. The more he rides her, the better she listens to him. Fancy gave him the sweetest hug after he dismounted. I hated I missed that photo. Since she sometimes walk so fast, I only let him ride her in the corral, because she walks lazy in the corral.
Oh, we did have a moment of excitement. Fancy heard something in the woods and she spooked with him. It frightened me, but he remembered the one rein stop and he did stop her! Very well, at that! And he said it didn't frighten him. I was glad. A few minutes later, two adult foxes and two juvenile foxes ran into Fancy's corral from the woods behind her stall. Since I know Fancy will stomp at them, I took him off her. She stood with us very calmly and didn't even pay the foxes any attention. The foxes stopped and looked at us and finally they turned back and ran into the woods. And Hollie, ran into the corral, ALONE, and Fancy let her stay there! What a doll;~)
Well, that is how things are here for now. They are keeping me very busy!
Summer is on now, time for fun! Stay safe and don't forget to share your fun with us.
