I am SO sorry she died! She looks very sweet!
I know how you feel. There was a horse named Lonesome. He wasn't mine, but I had an unimaginable bond with him in spite of this. He was a strawberry roan, and he was the horse that taught me how to ride. I had a bad instructor at that time, and I didn't learn anything from her. I wouldn't be the rider that I am today without him. I had my first canter, jump, and fall on him. (these were all accidental!) He was the sweetest horse...One day, a girl was riding him when I wasn't there. She pushed him too hard, and he landed wrong off of a jump. He was put down that day. I never even got to say goodbye.
