Leslie Potter, Associate Web Editor
Leslie Potter began her equestrian career at age 8, taking riding lessons at a stable in her hometown of Cape Elizabeth, Maine. She attended William Woods University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Equestrian Science with a concentration in saddle seat riding and a minor in Journalism/Mass Communications. While at William Woods, she rode and showed hunt seat and dressage in addition to Morgans, Arabians and American Saddlebreds in various saddle seat divisions.
Leslie taught riding lessons and worked as a freelance horse show correspondent and photographer for the Horsemen's Yankee Pedlar and Saddle Horse Report before moving to Lexington, Kentucky to join Horse Illustrated and HorseChannel.com as Web Editor in 2008. She is currently the proud owner of a former William Woods University school horse named Snoopy.
