How We Met

Well i had gone through a loss with a different horse, and mom was feeling really bad for me. So she found Diamon. She said he would be a very nice project horse. When i went out there all I saw was a lazy overweight horse. The owner could barely get him to trot while under saddle. Diamon had not been worked in 2 years at that time, so i could see why. The owner had just let him be on pasture, never worked him, and no additional feed, or what so ever. I kind of felt bad for him, so i told mom yes i'll be able to work with this horse. he hardly could trot a full way, don't even ask about the canter, no hind end movement of course, no collection of course, very lazy, very stubborn, and would spook at everything. I seriously thought that this was a joke. i have worked him out of all of those things. it's taken me 2 years, but i have done it. He went to his first show last year and did awesome. One class was 13 horses , and he had never been around 13 horses all at once. My boy made me really proud. He has also lost all of that weight. Now he is a awesome show horse, and is the horse who's most worked at the barn we board at. In conclusion he's come a very long way, he always tries for me, and is very loving.
