Color: Dark Bay with two hind socks, a snip, and a tiny half moon shaped star that seems to be mostly white hairs.

Type of Riding: Flat racing, western/english pleasure (in-training), just riding around for fun.

My Horse's Achievements: She won a race in 2007 at the North Dakota Horse Park. Hopefully there will be a few more to come in 2009. She is also coming along great with lunging and riding.

My Horse's Favorite Treat: Sweet feed and now peppermint treats.

My Horse's Favorite Things To Do: Run around with Seven and race each other in the arena. Eating sweet feed and counting how many bites she takes.

Pet Peeves: When I don't hose her off or scratch her all over after a long ride that makes her sweaty.

My Horse's motto: I will try anything once, but if I don't like it, I really don't want to do it again.

I was looking for a mare in August 2008 while working at the North Dakota Horse Park. Jewel was one of the few I was looking at. After debating between a couple and finding the right price, I decided to go with Jewel..
