How We Met

long story...but I was 15 and I was helping this old man in my neighborhood with his horses. He hadn't ridden any of them for at least three years. I fell in love with Stormy and he just was so smart and really seemed to love me back, so I decided I was going to buy him. I asked Larry how much and he gave me a deal for 1200$ for him. I worked as hard as I could and gave him a down payment of $300 within two months (alot of money for a 15 year old without a job) I soon came to realize that I couldn't afford him then and I wouldn't be able to pay very much for boarding after and told Larry that we should find him another buyer. about a month later Larry called me to come over and discuss what we were going to do. He made some small talk for a while and then cut to the chase and explained that he and his wife were going to sell him to me for $300 and that once I found him a place to stay, I would get his papers. I found somewhere to board for $50/month, and moved him as soon as I could. My parents were on vacation and had no idea untill after they got back in a week.
