Thanks for stopping by Pippin's page. I'm glad Ziggy enjoyed his day in the spotlight as hotd.
I took Pippin with the cart, or rather he took me, up the mountain on Saturday. Melian (my dog), of course, came along and we went exploring for a bit in the forest. It was a bit bumpy with large rocks and fallen trees to go over but Pippin's a tough little guy and pulls his hardest. I tried to get some video of it but it probably came out all jerky. Anyway, it was fun and he just loves exploring strange and unknown places.
If you'd like to see a bit of his funny personality check out his latest video. It's called Pippin's Stick. Oh, and a movie that I made entirely with avatars has been picked as the featured video of the month! That was such a nice surprise. They didn't tell me. I just happened to discover it.
On Friday we three went on a night time walk. It was pretty cold. It's nice during the day but as soon as the sun goes down it's pretty chilly. We went at a fast pace though and stayed warm. Except for my fingertips.
And yesterday afternoon my sister walked Pippin and I took Melian on an 8 mile bike ride. She did really well and averaged about 8 miles an hour. I think her allergies are bothering her again after that though so I had to give her some medication. She's pretty tuckered and can barely keep her eyes open. I haven't taken her and Pippin together with the bike again, even though it was so successful. Pippin can go 8 miles easily but not quite as fast.
I'm glad I got all that time with them outside because today it turned cold again and has been snowing on and off all day. Yesterday was so warm and bright and today was cold and dreary.
The other day I had him grazing in the garden. Of course, nothing is planted yet and he can clear up some of the big weedy grass clumps. Well, he discovered the coffee grounds that we use as compost around the roses and I was told that he had been eating quite a bit. That evening on our walk he was completely wired. He was just running here, there, and everywhere and couldn't keep still. Caffeine boost!

Tuesday night vote for ya. I groomed Fancy this morning and cleaned her stall before I fed her. It started snowing at lunch time, and it's still snowing. I hope they cancel school Wednesday, it's messy out there.
I won't be posting me brother's yearling filly after all. This man couldn't feed all of his horses, so he gave my brother a yearling last month. My brother lost his job so he gave her to a friend. Right now she is sick, only eating a little and sometimes she won't stand up. Fancy here with a Saturday night vote. Got Fancy's stall repaired today while she ran around playing with her ball. Things were going great, then my german shepherd decided to run with her and suddenly Fancy turned around and pawed the poor dog twice in the rear, when she got over it she still wanted to play with Fancy. I was afraid Fancy would do that again so I put the shepherd in her kennel. She seems to be fine so far. Hope your day has been lovely and fine also.
