How We Met

My Dad visited Germany on a business trip last summer. Conveniently, this was during the time that the Arab German Nationals were going on. He figured he would check it out while he was there. When he saw this horse in the ring he was mesmerized. He was so fluent and flashy that my dad had to speak with his owner about selling the horse, or at least having his stud services. After watching the colt win nationals, he spoke with the owner. Ronald Dollwith, the owner, told my dad of his double-personal- ity. He also said they were not willing to sell the horse. Discouraged, my father gave him his card, and left. Three weeks later, after my father was home he got a phone call. It was the man from Germany, asking if my dad was still interested in buying the colt. With much discussion and planning, he ended up buying him, even after hearing about his personality problems. He was shipped in on the 3rd, and we went to pick him up. He does have alot of problems that need to be overcome, but he is vastly improving and we are so lucky to have him on the farm. So far he has proved extremely effective in the show ring and is also being bred to one of our best mares soon. LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER QUESTIONS!.
