How We Met

Well one day i was out at my uncles farm...i was int he barn as usual and i opened the pasture door to say hi to the horses. As i was greeting them i noticed my cousins filly was very badly injured on her leg. It looked really bad so i ran to find my uncle and show him. Truns out it was horriable, we brought her into the barn and brought her yearling friend copper in to keep her company :D thats where me and coppers story begins. he was young and no one had really done anything with him, he was actually one to get sold. but while he was in the barn with sparrow(the hurt filly)i figured he need some attention too because he want really happy about being cooped up in the barn. so i started giveing him all my attention and slowley i was able to enter his stall and pet him. after that i came everyday after school and worked and played with copper. at frist i had to chase him down to get him into the barn, but after a while he started to trust me and all i had to do was call him. i worked and worked and worked with him untill i pretty much called him mine, but my mom said that i couldnt have him and he was gogin to be sold to someone else. i begged and begged and begged but it was no use...i had untill someone bought him and that was it, i had to say goodbye to my new best friend. well november came around and my birthday, copper was still there, the night of my birthday party after compative cheerleading practice, my cousin called and said the horses were out and we had to go help them round em up. so we all went up the raod to pitch in. katie yelled for me to go grab some grain from the feed room in the barn, i sprinted as fast as i could and took off back outside to help. kristi told me i had to go out the back door to the barn...odd...so i took off that way, then hse yelled at me again to come back. i was gettign a little irritated at this time, the horses were out and she had me playing this stuped game! then she siad Krysta have you checked on copper lately?? i said no and slowly turned to my left. there was a stall all decked out in ribbon and a sign that said HAPPY BIRTHDAY KRYSTA! inside the stall was copper! i cired, and went to see him. i think i stayed in the barn for an hour after that just talking to him. it was def. the best birthday ive ever had.
