Hey!!
Sorry it has been so long since i have been on HC!! I am sooooooo sorry!! I have been really busy with school and a lot has happened now and i think i will have a little more time for HC now!! Well allot has happened with me and Mac since i last wrote to you guys!!
Well i guess i will start of at our last two horse shows of the seasons!! Mac and i did very well at both and won High Point Western at one and High Point English Jr. At the other!!! I was very happy how those went!!!
Also Mac and I have had some really good riding lessons and really enjoy them!! Also we had a really good dressage clinic last weekend and had some spare time and made a really nice video that is on YouTube you should check out!! Here is the website:

Haaave a vote from my Fancy filly, this Monday night.
Well, the hay frame is holding up. There is little hay on the ground. I still have to give it a few days before I say Fancy won't demolish it. Fancy is still chasing kittens, but when she catches up with them she is not trying to stomp them anymore. I can't believe the kittens don't run from her anymore. She sniffs them and snorts at them.
I have not seen King this past weekend. My brother does spend time with him and he seems to be enjoying himself with his new King.
I can not believe it will be autumn this month! I only plan to ride more. Do you plan any different horsey related activities due to the change in seasons?

Hi, left a vote. Got to the barn yesterday, Toby had rolled, and his mane was every which way! LOL!!! So I took out all of the bands! I did ride, and he did really good. He is finally getting the side passing down. I am sore today, I was dismounting, next thing I know, I am on my back looking up at the arena lights. LOL!!! Toby just stood there, looking at me, with a your an idiot look in his eyes! LOL!!! I got back and rode for awhile. Knew I was going to be sore today. Come visit me, Toby & Amber.

Hi, left a vote. Rode Toby yesterday, he did really good. Debbie, a fellow boarder and friend, said I should consider Toby isn't the horse for me and sell him! She said he bucked you off, you got hurt, maybe you should consider it!! I looked at her in shock, and said, I am NOT selling Toby!!! I love this horse way too much. I am not going to give up on him. I have a great bond with him, and you just don't find that all the time. I know is bucking was pain related, not dis-respect, so that make a difference to me. I know she meant well, I get it, but it still upset me a little, can you tell?! LOL!!! Come visit me, Toby & Amber.

Had a nice evening with the girls. I let them out of the corral for some excercise. Sadie ran and kicked and even played a game of keep away with me. She's such a funny character. Hi, left a vote. Rode yesterday, he did really good. He pulled a good sizsed piece of wood behind him, didn't seem to bother him at all. Never did that before, he was a trooper. I put a picture of the road runner on the bottom of Sadie's page from yesterday morning. He was in the corral eating with the the girls. They had alfalfa, and I guess he had bugs. There was another one in the backyard at the same time. And no, he's not a threat to the dogs. They would be to him, tho'. I'm glad they're hanging out here. They're keeping the back yard clear of creepy critters. There was one in the front yard, too. He was zooming around a row of quail. Hugs and a vote. After Austin and I got back Monday from picking up a bale of hay, I opened the gate so I could drive around back. I saw the road runner running from the back of the corral out into the desert behind our property. He must like horses, too. He likes to stay by the hay as if watching them. He's about a foot tall and has a spikey hairdo. He always has access to water. I keep the dogs' pool filled. Pidgeons and other birds enjoy the pool, too. Why he had to try the water trough is beyond me. Road runners eat snakes, lizards, scorpions, rodents and other birds as well. During the winter months, they live on whatever vegetation they can find. And they are fast. Coyotes use to come up the water tank, about 2 acres from my house, when it leaked for a drink of water. I guess road runners get their name from all the running they do. I've seen them run across the highway. The dogs are in their dog house with the ac on when it's enjoying the back yard. Don't know what he'll do when the weather cools down enough not to run the dog's ac. They'll be out of the doghouse then. But since they don't like to stay in the yard, he should be free to stay. Austin said the road runner was hanging out at the dog pool Sunday morning. I guess we're his new family, even tho' he runs like crazy when he sees us. Austin was trying to figure out how it got in the water trough. Since Sadie's tossed things in it before, he was thinking she may have done it. I don't think so. I think he somehow got up on the edge like he does the dog pool and tried to get a drink from a half empty trough and lost his balance. Only Sadie and the road runner know and neither are talking. Hi, left a vote. I rode Toby yesterday! Felt so good to get back in the saddle. I rode english with the bitless bridle, he did great! English saddle is a lot lighter for me to put up on him and take back off, so for now that is how I will be riding. It will do me some good to get back in that english saddle!
