I had to stop by this page because we have a dog named Sven. I've never met another animal with that name.
Thank you so much for your congratulations for Eddie. I was quite surprised to see that he won. And then later on last night, my brain being on hold, I suddenly thought, "Oh no, I forgot to congratulate the hotd." So I went to my account and saw that it was Eddie. Well, duh, I knew that already. I guess it had been a long day.
I rode Prince this evening but we only got to ride for half an hour because we had major thunderstorms with lots of lightning striking in the nearby fields. It didn't seem to bother him though. Last week I had him at a really collected trot and suddenly he fell to his knees. I stayed on but it took Prince a few tries before he was able to get all the way back up. I don't know if I unbalanced him or perhaps it's because the ground is uneven. We don't have an arena. His owner says he's fine but he seemed to be tripping more this evening too. I don't know.
Pippin ran over to the neighbours again yesterday. He is best friends with a big gelding over there. He was mock fighting through the fence. He's so small but he stood up on his hind legs several times and knocked the other horse in the face. And they were biting each other too and loving it. Neither was too rough. I wish I could take him home. Pippin would love an equine companion. But then maybe he wouldn't like me as much. Hmmm.
Well, thanks again for the congratulations for Eddie's win for a day in the spotlight. I really appreciate it. Here's a vote for you.
