Ive been talking to my mom and this summer I might be able to lease a horse over the summer!!! Im so excited!!! But I am sad that I havent gotten to ride in a while. Last June to be exact. Hi!
Ok, nothing interesting happened yesterday, but it got cold enough for slush to form this morning. I have a Chemistry Lab exam today, wish me luck! Just so all of you know, that have not been in MN before. We get about as cold in the winter as any place in the US, and almost as hot in the summer. It is because we do not have any oceans nearby. Plus our summers are sooooo humid, it feels at least 10degrees warmer than it actually is. Last year we had a very nice mild summer, I LOVED it! It made it nice to ride, and I did not have to ride before 10:00 in the morning when it starts to get hot. We have a nicely sized above ground pool that we put up every year to keep us cool. Today’s TIP: now that spring is coming around, soak all of your brushes, and dirty halters in a bucket filled with warm water and a little bit of soap! It works wonders, I am sure some of you already do this, but if you do not, it is amazing how well it cleans everything! Ttyl, Amber and Zorro p.s. I left a vote for you!Come visit me, Zorro.

Hi, welcome to Horse Channel! It is great to see the number of users on this site rise :). Could you do me a favor, you see, Zorro is running for HOTM, and he needs your votes. The only way we can reach our goal, is if you help him, voting for him everyday or whenever you have time would be greatly appreciated! I am training Zorro primarily for Western Pleasure and English Pleasure/Hunt seat flat, and secondarily games once he gets a little older. I have also been working on some dressage and doing some small jumps to diversify his abilities! He has about 60 days of training so far, maybe a little more now. Today I rode him and working on both dressage and hunt seat, also working on my own body position. I treasure all around horses and work hard to produce them! I train and show my own horses. Zorro has one grand champion at a state level show from when he was two (he is three now). Hopefully he is a multi grand champion in the making. Once again, I really appreciate your support!
