Toria looks like my baby doll Fancy. Come and see, they are so gorgeous. Fancy and Frances here leaving you an it's been wonderful reining as November HOTM vote. It has been a lovely Fri and Sat here in NC. We hope for more of this pleasant weather today. Both days we hung out in the yard with Fancy. Last night when I put her up my boys decided to take their Jack Russel, Bindi, for a walk up the street. Oh, this got to Fancy. She saw them walking toward the street and she twirled, looked at me, looked at them, reared, looked at me, lifted her head over the gate and looked at me. I knew she wanted to go. Fancy was saying come on and my boys were saying come on Mom. I felt bad, but it was getting dark and I had to put the water hose up, lock the shed, etc. I promised to accompany them another day because I don't like to walk Fancy out of the yard after dark. All in all our weekend has been great. We hope your weekend is all that and more!

hi
check out my action shots of me riding my haflinger, peach with no saddle or bridle! she's fine bareback and really slow. i thought it would be fun to try but it ends up she doesn't think she should be ridden with no bridle, apparently!!Come visit me, Sing & Herd.

i am glad the show went well! So i am working with dancer because she is a little spooky too! But progress has been going good. in three days she went from totally spooking and avoiding jumps and all white poles to clearing a 2 foot jump by 1 foot!Come visit me, Jimmi & Dancer (HORSE CRAZY).

Hi! Sorry it took me so long to get back! Wow! That's great about your show! Did you show Rocki? For spring break we went on vacation to Kentucky Horse Park!!! It was amazing! We saw the breeds parade first. My two favorite breeds are the arabian (duh) and the appaloosa. We also saw some of the worlds fastest race horses including Dah Hoss! He was voted the WORLD BEST horse of the DECADE! In his racing career he won over ten-million dollars! When he gallops his stride is 28 feet long! And we got to pet him! There was also Cigar and Funny Cide two other great thoroughbreds. Hi! I am still not sure about the saddles because some people have been saying "DUH! GET THE CLOSE CONTACT!!!" And others have been saying "OF COURSE YOU WANT TO GET THE ALL PURPOSE! I HAVE ONE AND I LOVE IT!" I am going to try them out and see which I like better. I have been working with Crystal bareback! She loves it! I made a movie of my friend cantering her and I love it! She has such an amazing canter! She loves to canter too. Crystal is going for hotd on May 5th (her b-day) so if you would like to help us spread the word that would be AWESOME! If not could you please just vote for us on May 4th so we can get it on her birthday? Crystal means the world to me and I would love for her to get this. Hi! How's Tori? If you get this blog soon I kinda need your advice. I will be getting a new saddle soon and I have two 17 inch english saddles to choose from. An all purpose or a close contact. Do you have any advice? Crystal is doing great! I have been riding three or four times a week. My friend and I got to ride today!!!!!!! Crystal was awesome. She is scared of a big window down at the end of the arena. She is also nervous around ground poles. Today she trotted past the window and over the ground pole! She kept doing a really fast trot though. A few times she would go into a canter and I really wish I could let her canter. Is was so smooth and flowing. I can't tell yet because I have only ridden her canter for a few strides but I think her canter is much easier than her trot! When we were done riding she was really tired so we just led her around until she was cool. Now she is really pretty with her winter coat gone and her bite marks growing in.
