How We Met

We found her on dream horse after our Friesian colt Wodan had to be put down from a rare stomach condition. We were not ready to give up the breed. She looked scraggaly in her dream horse picture, but I had a good feeling. We drove all the way to New Jersey to get her. Coming back was terrible. I was pouring rain and the winds were blowing off of the road. We all managed to get home safe though. We hav had her since..

Two Haflinger Gelding's For Sale!
Hi I am writing this because I need to find another home for my two horses nick and murray. I have had them for about 4 years and i hate saying this because im afraid no one will want them because of this but they are herd bound one more than the other and i just cant do anything with them cause of this. I think they would be fine with someone with a multi horse farm and someone who would take the time to look passed and take the time to work though their problem more than i can. I have found another horse but cant get him until i sell nick and murray. If you know anyone who might be intersdid please stop by my channel and let me know.
thank you
Amanda

Yea, so many good dogs, cats, and horses lose their lives everyday bc of irresponsible people! People don't spay/neuter, or breed responsibly. It drives me crazy. down here, there are so many feral cats that I joke and say they are a wild animal in this part of the country. I made a friend here that is from Maryland, and used to be a jockey, that does dog rescue down here. I try to help her when I can. She also has horses, but doesn't show or anything. Anyway, I love rescue stories! And I'm so thankful to have been able to give Pal a good home. But I still wish that I could rescue a Friesian too, lol. I hope you have a good day!

The crazy thing about the farm in Chardon is that I used to work in Chardon grooming dogs! My parents bought me a dog in middle school to get my mind off of horses (especially when the barn closed down that I rode at), and I got really involved in showing/grooming/breeding ect. and worked for a show samoyed kennel throughout high school and college--all the while, I was wishing that I could find a horse farm to work for, or at least do an apprenticeship with. Honestly, I probably would have mucked stalls for free just to be around them! lol. It's just a killer to find all kinds of horse people on here from Ohio, and I'm now on the opposite side of the country with no one around here! But really, thank you for the information you gave me! I really appreciate it. The excitement that I feel when I think about owning my own Friesian, or just being around them, makes me feel like a little kid, haha. I hope you have a great day!

Hello! Just stopping by my favorite horse's page! How is everything up in Ohio? I just found out that there is a Friesian horse farm in Chardon, OH (20 mins from my parents, and I never knew it!) I can't find any down here in LA! Do you know of any? Or of any Friesian networking that may help me find a breeder? Hope all is well! Left another vote!

Wow! I am from Madison, Ohio and went to college at the University of Akron--I have been in love with Friesians ever since my father took me to the Kentucky Horse Park in 7th grade! I was right around the corner from you, and now I am in Louisiana! She is beautiful! With a beautiful name! I wish I could find a nice one through a rescue, but who in their right mind would ever give one up?? There are not many people that are into hunting/dressage/harness down here in Louisiana--I think I'm in the wrong part of the country for that. Well, have a great time with her! And good luck!
